In 2016 I was fortunate to discover a cache of vintage glass beads from India still packed away in their original muslin one kilo bags. I became enamored with them immediately and my wife who had been an art teacher for many years taught me how to chain them together. I wanted the beads to bring beauty and joy to the world.

I am writing this now on May 30, 2025 and and I have released over 4,000 chains into the wild. They have been taken to Singapore, Japan and other places by those who have been gifted one. I have used over 2.5 miles of copper wire and get just as much joy today of giving them away as I did over 8.5 years ago. Just how many more chains will be released before I run out of beads....I have no idea yet I will continue to make them and gift them until the last bead has found a home.
